Computer's Replaced Waitresses...Finally :-)

I was both shocked, saddened but also kinda happy when I saw this video:

Recently, since I have been out of the North American "dining out & tipping culture" since living here in Asia, it kinda made me realize that some (not all) but enough waitresses I have been 'served' by back home, came across as kinda like soft core 'legalized prostitutes'...

Allow me to explain, in reality, most waitresses in North America are very provocatively dressed while serving mostly groups of drunken men in restaurants, lounges and bars while they are essentially selling themselves in order to get tips...(due to the fact they just make minimum wage).

However, I have had alot of very professional and proper waitresses that were a pleasure to interact with and enhanced the whole 'dining out experience' but for the most part, the constant attempts at 'up sells' during the meal and drinks are usually very annoying...

Furthermore, the last few girls I dated were all waitresses, and it didn't take long to realize that they weren't really good 'girlfriend' material...working in that industry (of course, that's just my own personal experience...I have also dated some GREAT girls that were waitresses / bar tenders too that I am still super close with, you know who you are :)

In closing...is technology taking over the world?

Yes it is...my son just told me the other day that his mom bought him a cell phone...he is only 7.

Ridiculous.
