If You've Never Failed...You've Never Lived & Will Never Win!

What else can I say? The video says it all...

My last article below was about the silent 'Lie of Life' that people in society have these 'rules & regulations' to live by and that there is a certian expectation that the 'saints' of society expect us to follow like a herd of blind cows...

Well, I say there is a set of rules and regulations but we do NOT have to follow the heard of the blind leading the blind who created these expectations...

The fact is that we ALL have the FREEDOM OF CHOICE to BE, To DO and To HAVE whatever it is we want. Period. But most people don't take advantage of this 'free will'.

Ask yourself: why do you get up in the morning and do the things you do?
Like waking up at 6am and going to work?

Because you have too?

NO!

You do it because you choose too.

BIG difference in that distinction.

I speak with people EVERYDAY who reply to my adds who want to start a business to be able to work from home and have the time & financial freedom to do the things they want to do, *BUT* when given that exact same opportunity to do what they say they 'want'...most people walk away from the answer to their problem and decide to continue going back to doing that thing (job) that they hate, but say they 'have' to do (waking up everyday & working for someone else instead of themself).

Why?

The number 1 reason people do not get what they want or do what they WANT in life is this: Drum roll please....

Fear of 'Failer.'

Plain and simple.

It's FEAR of failing that keeps people stuck living a life they are not happy with!

Its FEAR that keeps people from reaching their God Given potential.

Its FEAR that keeps people from taking that dream vacation...just because CNN (Constant Negative News) says that the 'world' (outside of North America) is a dangerious place to visit.

Its fear that keep people waking up before the sun comes up to trade there life for a pay check instead of living a life by design.

Is fear knocking on your door and holding you back?

F*ck THAT!

Do you know what 'FEAR' stands for? False Expectations Appearing Real

I have traveled through war-torn countries on numerous occassions (I backpacked through the Middle East for 2 motnhs AND I was in a war zone along the border of Northern Thialand & Burma trying to get my passport stamped and you know what?

The reality is that I am more scared to go to a house party in Surrey (a bad area in Vancouver) than try crossing a border in the middle of a war...

Most people don't want to look bad in front of others, and trust me, I understand that completly! When I joined my first (and only) Network Marketing Company and put my student loan towards getting started, my parents FREAKED OUT!

But that did NOT stop me (but unfortunatly other situations just like it has stopped ALOT of my potential business partners from getting started in their own business).

A couple months later after 'results' became apparent, and that 'thing' I signed up for became 'real', my mom ended up joining me in the same business that was a 'scam'. LOL!

That was a sweet feeling that overcame the 'fear of failer' seeing her eat her words of warning & fear of the unkown & unframiliar.

But hey, I am NOT saying I have never failed...I have...plenty of times...

-My biggest personal failure so far: imagine being 23 years old & having the one person you love the most in the world (your child's mother) leave you for no reason, and as a result you miss out on some of your son's growing up?
Yup, that happend to me and ya, it really sucked...but I got over it an learned a TON about relationships and taking personal responsibility from that experience and as a result of my love and commitment to my son, I have the most incredible 5 year old boy on the planet who is VERY loved by both his parents (me and his mom). Strangely that separation between his mother & I it turned out to be a blessing in disguise....everything happens for a reason.

-My biggest financial failare to date is I did not listen to my business Advisor/ Marketing Sponsor and lost (passed up) something like $72 000 dollars (yes, thats seventy thousand dollars) in commissions due to just ONE bad decision from not being positioned at the top of the companies pay plan (a lesson that I am still recovering from.) Now I listen to everything my advisor tell me :-)

-I have also gotten fired from a few past jobs when I was younger (thats why I HATE being an employee!)

-I have missed ALOT of game winning shots throughout my basketball career...but like Michael Jordan said: 'you miss every shot you never take'. (FYI he has missed more shots than anyone in NBA history...but hs is also the leading scorer and best player ever because he took the most shots aswell).

My point is, who cares what people think of you?

The problem with society is that most people don't think of you (or of anything else besides themself) at all...

(Excpet you of course:)

LOL!

So keep on failing & have fun with this thing called life, because it means the more you lose, the bigger you are about to win.

I am flying to down to LA this week for 6 days to go to my Network Marketing's Training Conference (I can't WAIT for that and to SURF agian;)...

I will post a new article soon about that trip & event and I will be sure to share with you all the success secrets I will learn from that Personal Development event...

The Silent Tick-Tock "LIE of LIFE"...Sound Framiliar?

I was sitting in a lounge last night sipping on a gin & tonic in Yaletown with a good buddy of mine named Colin.

We have known eachother for over 16 years (its incredible how fast time flies!)
We both grew up in Edomonton and we lived 5 blocks away from eachother 'growing up'.

Five years ago I both moved to Vancouver, last week he moved in with his girlfriend into a new condo in my neighbourhood, so we once agian randomly live about 5 block away from eachother in a new Van-City.

Anyway, after a few drinks we were talking about the same old B.S. stories & remenising on the past and then we started to realize just how FAST time has flown by and how many of our friends are now buying houses, getting married, having children, getting trapped into jobs / careers that were at first 'just a temopary job' but have now somehow turned into a 10 year groundhog day rat race routine running up the corporate ladder were there is no end in sight...

And the worst part of all: some of us are even looking...OLDER. Yikes!

Do you know what I mean by this 'thing called life' happening too fast to keep up and keep on track?

Take a look around...I even dare you to take the time to take a close look in the mirror...I did. Its incredible who you will see :)

It was so funny because later that night I randomly ran into another good friend of mine at the same lounge who used to be my old college roomate who I used to play basketball with at the University of Winnipeg!

When he came up to us at the bar, the first thing he said was 'Hey man, guess what? I just bought a house with my girlfriend up on Main St." Classic.

Colin and I looked at eachother and spoke the unspoken words as thoughts.

"Life is happening all around us, the eternal tick-tock of the clock is non-stop."

If you have ever felt like your are chasing something, working towards something (or even worse: working FOR someone), wanting something, waiting for something or wishing for someone...

You are not alone...its a game that 'they' (society) wants you to play.

Watch this to see the BIGGEST (Unspoken) LIE of LIFE...

It may be the fact that its my 29th birthday next week and I am feeling a little, how do I say 'reflective' as I write the blog post...but, I also think that its important to pass this important message along to anyone who cares to read or listen to it...

"LIFE IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW..SO...GO LIVE IT!"

I have made it a point to go down to the beach by my place every night to take the time to enjoy watching the sunset. Its the highlight of my day. LOL.
Life really is a beautiful thing to waste, most people are just waiting for it to start.

This video is why I LOVE this VAN-tastic City soo much!
Look for the lightning bolt at 1 min 40 secs..incredible.

I suggest you should try out a 'sunset session' sometime: Bring a nice bottle of wine, blanket, a picnic (and perhaps a special someone if you please) turn off your phone and just enjoy!

PS here is a REALLY funny mock video of the neighbourhood were I live called "Yaletown".

See you all at Bar None (or as we call it, "Bar No Fun" Haha!)
Sorry, insider joke / just like the 'Lie of Life', what a joke! Life is much more fun and productive when you stop playing by 'their' rules.

Ok, enough rambeling, or I will be 50 years old by the time I post this.
Going to watch the sunset now.

Game on.
